Physical Therapist Assistant
Integrated Sports Medicine & Physical Therapy of Loudoun

I graduated from Northern Virginia Community College in 2020 and obtained my Physical Therapist Assistant license shortly afterwards. My last clinical rotation was at ISMPT where I continued to develop my skill set and immediately loved working in this setting. Overall, I have been employed in outpatient settings for the past 8 years, working my way up from a clinic assistant.

Growing up as an active and rather reckless child with 7 brothers, I was exposed to the world of physical therapy at a young age. I was blessed to have great therapists that were very passionate about their profession and for teaching. They inspired me to work in physical therapy. Helping patients of all ages return to previous activities is my favorite part of being a PTA. Working in an outpatient clinic setting allows me to regularly interact with my patients and focus on creating treatment plans so they can accomplish their goals. Helping people improve their quality of life and return to activities they love is what I am most passionate about. I am continuing to learn new techniques and skills to broaden my treatment options through continuing education courses. I am certified in the Barbell Rehab Method and in manual techniques including cupping and instrument assisted soft mobilization. Getting to lead ISMPTs Rehab to Performance program allows me to assistance in providing a place that allows people to develop their long-term athleticism and reduce their risk of reinjury.

Outside of work I enjoy being active including weightlifting, hiking, playing disc sports, and hanging out with my wife and cat. Fun fact- I played on a professional ultimate frisbee team for one year and was paid $100 a game.
